La reverse logistique en tant qu’avantage compétitif

Résumé

La Reverse Logistics (RL) est un maillon à part entière de la SC (SC). A ce titre, elle doit contribuer en apportant de la valeur à cette dernière. Par ailleurs, les entreprises sont maintenant tenues de prouver qu'elles sont des citoyennes socialement responsables des conséquences de leurs actions sur l'environnement. Nous présentons dans cet article un cadre conceptuel dans lequel la RL est source d'avantage compétitif. Une démarche exploratoire identifie les concepts mobilisés. Les bases d'une étude quantitative sur les moyens requis pour qu'une RL apporte un avantage compétitif à une SC sont proposées. Parmi les recommandations pratiques, citons la nécessité d'une volonté de la direction générale, des systèmes d'information dédiés et une collaboration avec les autres maillons.
