Résumé

La Maintenance Basée sur la Fiabilité (MBF) est considérée en premier lieu comme principalement destinée à élaborer un programme de maintenance préventive optimisé, ayant pour but la sûreté de fonctionnement et la sécurité des moyens de production, en tenant compte des aspects économiques. De plus, c'est un vecteur technique d'amélioration de l'organisation de la maintenance ; néanmoins les résultats en sont souvent très limités. Pour atteindre la TPM en s'appuyant sur une stratégie basée sur la MBF, il faut prendre en considération plus de facteurs que pour une simple démarche technique. Le problème est à la fois technique, économique, organisationnel et les principaux promoteurs de la méthode sont les ressources humaines. L'objectif de cet article est de définir la MBF globale et l ' implication de cette démarche sur l ' implantation de la TPM dans les PME.
